Welcome to the Sunshine Circle webpage at
First Cumberland Presbyterian Church
Columbia, Tennessee
We meet the 1st Monday of each month @ 6pm.
We have decided to
The next meeting will be at the Life Care Center of Columbia @ 6pm to visit with our New Friends.
On Tuesday August 2nd we (Suzanne, Joyce, Sharon, and Patsy) met at Life Care Center of Columbia once again. We came back to visit our new friends. What a joy to get to spend some time with these ladies and make them feel special. Sad to report that we lost one of our dear friends Ms. Helen Blocker passed away, but we know that she is pain-free and happy now. Nannie and Ruth both need a special daily prayer, neither one was feeling all that great. Our goal is to visit with each of these ladies at least once a month. The names and room #'s are listed below and if anyone has any questions please let me know (Patsy @ phoughteling@gmail.com).
Hebrews 13:16 “And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.”

The Sunshine Circle women's group meets in the evening. All women of the church - members, regular attendees, and visitors are welcome to attend.
Meetings are casual and everyone is encouraged to participate or you can just sit back and listen, learn, grow.
Monthly agendas include a short business meeting, devotional, prayer, refreshments, and warm fellowship. We also enjoy some fun outings for our group.
We hope you will join us for a special time in God's house with other women of the church.
Community Service Projects
The Sunshine Circle sponsors various community service projects from time to time.
Money has been collected in baby bottles to benefit the local pregnancy crisis center.
Donations for some meals prepared by members of the Sunshine Circle served after Sunday worship services
are being used to assist a nearby family who is struggling to make ends meet.
We will help them by paying a portion of their utility bills. We have also gathered donated clothing for the family.
We have been collecting items for "goody" baskets for church member shut-ins,
which have been delivered.
See you there! Bring a friend!
